Relentless Offense Academy

The Academy is players ready to take the next step in lacrosse training by focusing on raising each player's Lacrosse IQ by breaking down common game situations. Players will go through innovative drills that detail stickwork, footwork, shooting and dodging. Each player will receive individual attention and critique in a positive atmosphere.

Overview of what each player will learn:

     *Lacrosse IQ- Positional and situational talks explaining what to look for and how to be successful - Applied to every drill & constant point of emphasis
     *Time and Room Shooting- Advanced shooting drills and concepts; Multiple release points, Deception, Power, Footwork, Speed
     *Shooting on the Run- Arguably the hardest and most valued offensive skill; Drill: Fliphip, Partner circle fliphip, Relentless 4 cone backpedal
     *Dodging- Advanced detailed footwork focusing heavily on the split, roll and combo jab dodges
     *Team Concepts- Positional review of formations, motions and responsibilities
     *Trick shots- Encourage creativity and demonstrate proper use of backhand, around the world, twister; Drill: Shoulder slams, Relentless twisties

The Academy is open to players in 5th-12th grade. Due to the desired skill level of the program, there will be an evaluation prior to the start.

*A portion of this programs registration fee will be donated to the HEADstrong Foundation, to help support the fight against blood cancers.
