FULL-TIME POSITIONS

  • Director, Field Hockey and Tournaments
    • The Director of Field Hockey and Tournaments is responsible for the management of the organization’s field hockey division, leagues, and tournaments. This includes but is not limited to systems, processes, sales and marketing, planning, execution, evaluation, staffing and budgets. The Director of Tournaments coordinates all programs with other departments to ensure smooth business operations.

  • Internships
    • United Sports offers a unique, constructive internship experience for students interested in sports, marketing and event management. Most students will complete a 400-hour internship to satisfy graduation requirements. This equates to 40 hours per week over a 10-week period. However, some students may require a longer internship duration or have shorter practicum requirements with less time commitment. These cases will be addressed individually. We have a set intern schedule but will be flexible to accommodate any individual requirements. Positions available in the following departments: Leagues, Tournaments, Youth Programs, Operations

  • Bus Driver
    • Safely transport children to different elementary school locations

    • Assist with performing a prescribed pre-operational safety maintenance check, as well as accumulate and record statistics for daily log reports on route service. Other duties as assigned.

    • Work Schedule The base hours consist of a ‘before school’ route that takes place between approximately 8:00-9:00am and an ‘after school’ route that takes place between approximately 3:00-4:15pm. On days that the schools have inservice days and early dismissal days the schedule will be flexible. Additional hours may be available as the program continues to grow and the ability to assist with the day-to-day before and after school program supervision is a plus. Most weeks would average 12-15 hours per week. Availability and flexibility are key. Regular, non-disruptive, and reliable attendance is an essential job duty, as well as the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

    • Hourly Range: $11 - $14 per hour

    • Minimum Qualifications: * The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma * Age 25 or older * A valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License in good standing * Must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally, as evidenced in application materials * Knowledge of Department of Transportation rules and regulations * Ability to show excellent customer service skills * Ability to work with and learn technology

  • Before & After School Sports Enrichment Program Team Member
    • The Before and After School Sports Enrichment Program Team Member is responsible for all aspects of assisting with program management. The team member will be responsible to working either the ‘morning shift’ (6:15-8:45am); ‘afternoon shift’ (3:15-6:30pm); or both to coincide with program hours. This includes but is not limited to assisting with staff scheduling, curriculum design, daily planning and oversight, student welfare, compliance tasks, inventory and ordering of supplies, etc. The position reports directly to the Team Leader and Sr. Director of Youth Programs.

    • RESPONSIBILITIES

    • • Supervision of before and after school participants, including but not limited to check in and out procedures, safety plans, emergency action plans, transportation oversight, etc.

    • • Safety, upkeep, and inventory of before and after care equipment, area, etc.

    • • Lead activities in the class room and on the surfaces while maintaining high energy and focus on participants.

    • • Planning and execution of Before and After School Sports Enrichment programming, including but not limited to games and activities, homework time, arts and crafts, and other age appropriate activities.

    • • Direct communication with customers families, including but not limited to activity reports, homework and progress reports, any issues, etc.

    • • Enforce all United Sports facility rules.
