ADULT BASKETBALL LEAGUE

Where the thrill of competition never gets old! Our Adult Basketball League at United Sports is the ultimate destination for individuals looking to unleash their inner athlete. Whether you’re playing for the love of the game, the camaraderie, or the competition, you’ll find it all here. Games will be played once a week on Sunday nights between 6-9 p.m. All teams will be guaranteed 7 games minimum – 7 games regular season plus playoffs. Games will be played in a 5 vs 5 format with two 20-minute halves. The clock is running time; except the final minute of the second half in games within 15 points. Each team receives two time-outs per half. 

The league will be broken down into 2 or 3 divisions depending on the amount of teams. Division 1 being the most competitive, and Division 3 being more of a Rec Division Shirts will be provided to teams who pay the registration 2 weeks prior to the season starting. email bleech@unitedsports.net with color choices and sizes upon paying registration. Winner will receive Championship shirts, $100 off next registration, and the team name on the league trophy displayed at United Sports

Program Information

  • Refunds are only issued in the event of program cancellation.
  • Divisions:
    • Division 1 – Competitive 
    • Division 2 – Intermediate/Rec
    • Free Agent
  • Check-In:
    • Prior to the start of each league game, players will be required to check-in with the field marshal. Those players not registered will have to register at the front desk. This will ensure quality control, competitive balance, and liability coverage for the facility.
  • An administration fee is required for program registration. This admin fee is good for one year, once paid, covers all admin costs for all programs for the year. The admin fee must be paid prior to registration, or you will receive an error.
  • Games will be scheduled on Sunday nights between 6:00 – 10pm. Teams will play one game per week.
  • Games will be played with two 20-minute halves. Clock is running time; except final minute of second half in games within 15-points. Each team receives two time-outs per half.

  • All teams MUST BE PAID IN FULL by beginning of the season. Teams not paid in full will not be included on the schedule until they are paid. Team roster may have up to 10 players on it. Players must play in a minimum of 3 games to be eligible for the playoffs. Games will be checked in and tracked week over week.
  • Rosters must be finalized prior to team’s 4th scheduled contest of the season. There will be no adds to the roster after teams play their 4th game.
  • All adult league games are 5 vs 5

  • Players with no signed waiver will not be allowed on the field
  • Players should log into their DaySmart account weekly to check their game time
  • Check-In
    • Prior to the start of each league game, players will be required to check in with the field marshal. Players who are not rostered will have to register or pay the drop-in fee at the front desk.
  • Substitution/Drop-In Policy:
    • A substitute is allowed for any league game. A substitute may play on any team in any night, but may not play on two different teams in the same league on the same night. No substitutes will be allowed during playoffs or post-season.
  • Refund Policy
    • Refunds will ONLY be issued in the event of a program cancellation
  • All players must be listed on the team roster to be eligible to participate. Rosters may have up to 10 players listed. The Roster locks at the end of Week 4. All players will be checked in prior to games at the scorer’s table. Players not on roster are ineligible to participate. Players must play in a minimum of 3 regular season contests to be eligible for the playoffs. 
  • All teams must wear same colored shirts. If two teams are close in color, the AWAY team will be required to wear pinnies. Reversible pinnies or bringing a dark and light color are good ideas to help to minimize confusion. Teams should have numbers if possible, but MUST be in same color. If teams are not in the same color, pinnies must be worn. 
  • Any technical fouls are two free-throws and possession. Any player committing two technical fouls in a game will be ejected from the game. Any ejections will carry a mandatory one-game suspension. If a player is ejected from a game twice, they will be removed from the league without refund. 
  • Flagrant misconduct or foul during the game may also result in ejection from league. Fighting, pushing/shoving, vulgar/hostile verbal abuse or encouraging a fight will result in immediate ejection from game and possible league. This league is for fun and recreational. If any players cannot play in a way of having fun and showing mutual respect, do not come out for the league. Any of the above listed infractions may result in suspension from the United Sports premises including any and all activities that take place within the facility

Registration: $600 per team*

$100 OFF registration if paid by March 24

*Teams are responsible for paying referees per game -$40 per game
